Synopsis: The Kurt Wallander novels, written by Henning Mankell, were adapted into films for Swedish television between 1994 and 2006. From 2005 to 2006, 13 additional films were produced, with new storylines, only one directly from a novel. The first film, based on Before the Frost was released in cinemas.
